This project involves providing a prescription to the student, who will assume the role of a pharmacist and demonstrate their skills in interpreting and implementing the prescription. A jury composed of experienced instructors will observe and evaluate the student's performance based on accuracy, communication, and professionalism throughout the process.
What is CIU International Patient Counselling Competition?
The CIU International Patient Counselling Competition is an annual event organized by the Faculty of Pharmacy at Cyprus International University.
The CIU Patient Counselling Competition is an annual event in which 3rd, 4th, and 5th-year CIU Faculty of Pharmacy students participate. The objectives of the competition are:
To create an opportunity for students to apply the principles of pharmaceutical care and clinical pharmacy, which they have been theoretically trained in, before graduation.
To emphasize the competencies of pharmacists by testing all the criteria they should possess.
